Is the Thailand visa valid retroactively?

Hello! My tourist visa for Thailand probably won't arrive in time. I'm allowed to stay for 30 days without a visa. The visa will probably arrive by email. Will the visa then be valid, or will the 30-day stay still apply?

And second question: What if I travel from Thailand to Vietnam, for example, and then return to Thailand? Do I then have another 30-day stay, or how does that work? 🙂

Thanks in advance.

You need the visa when you enter. It won’t hurt you.

So if you arrive without a visa, you will receive a residence permit for 45 days as a German (only 30 days, but currently due to a special scheme 45). A one-time reduction of about 30 days is possible with the oerlich zustaendenbehoerde fuer 1.900 Baht.

If you travel out and then return without a visa, you will get 30 days (or 45 if the special scheme is still valid).

However, only 2 visum-free arrivals in the year are too lavish. However, this limitation does not exist for entry by air, and it depends on the Thai border police, from which the number of visa-free entry makes them dense for you.

without a visa, you need a hin-u. Return flight within 30 days. you wanted to stay longer and thus no flight back to the date. you’re not even letting in the plane, you’re staying in Dland.

That was once. Today, Thai immigration no longer controls your flight. And…the visa is issued in Germany. If you have the opportunity to post this by post, you can also use it in Thailand.
