It looks kind of like fat that has settled down, but I don’t think it’s that. I wouldn’t eat it, it looks disgusting!

Mold forms fissile-pelry-flockened structures. You can see that when you look at the suspect from nearby.

If this is smooth and even shiny, it is more fat beads.

They are typical of Emulsions. Refresh your basic chemical knowledge about what it is by reading at least one Wikipedia article about what it is. This is indispensable for everything in the kitchen.

Nutella doesn’t mold. Look at the pack, is there some pop stuff in the Nutella? Maybe that’s it?
