Is this normal almost a month after toenail surgery?

I had surgery for an ingrown toenail almost a month ago. It's healed well so far, and I was even able to play soccer again about two weeks later. The doctor said it'll be okay once the redness goes away and I don't feel any pain anymore. It hasn't hurt since then. Here's a picture of what it looks like now:

You can see a kind of brown discoloration, and you can feel something small on the top of the nail with your finger. Also, there was a bit of blood on the bottom left two or three times after training, but I didn't feel anything. I know, though, that someone stepped on my foot today, but it only hurt a normal amount. Does anyone know if this is normal? There hasn't been any real change in about a week.
