Guten Morgen liebe Antiquitäten- Spezialisten, ich habe hier Mal einen wahrscheinlich eher weniger wertvollen “Schatz”, den ich letzte Woche auf dem örtlichen Flohmarkt erworben habe. Ich finde die Schüssel ganz nett und überlege deswegen vielleicht ein paar andere Teile dieses Sets dazukaufen, allerdings finde ich leider den Namen/Nummer dieser Reihe. Was ich bisher Dank Google…

Hi,

that looks more like copper.

Yes brass or copper can be polished.

There are polishing pastes at Rossmann, Müller, DM.

The silver in the interior could come from brazing (solving tin).

This is brass, but the part is old and old parts should also be viewed their age. When you polish it, it loses its charm and is thereby devalued.

Yeah, that should be brass. There are many polishing agents for such horns and trumpets.
