A frikadellenbrötchen is in principle not a classic burger, but they are related. While a burger typically consists of a beef patty, salad, tomatoes, cheese and special sauces, a frying bread is often simpler: a frying (similar to a meatball) in a bun, sometimes with mustard, ketchup or onions. Historically, the frying bread can be regarded as a kind of precursor of the burger, as the idea of serving meat in bread is older than the modern burger.

Look at a frying bun. There’s a french at least. 3 cm thick & juicy & neat twibble in meat mass! And no dry 5 mm meat slice without taste.
