Is this part of the healing process, Lung?
I had severe pneumonia about 6 weeks ago and was recently discharged from the hospital. Recently, I've been hearing a bubbling sound in my lungs when I breathe in and out since I stopped taking my asthma inhaler. Could this sound be related to a metallic taste in my mouth, which I've also noticed? I'm wondering if this is related to residual fluid or mucus in my airways, or if it could be a sign of incomplete healing or further inflammation. I've also had chest pain for the past few days. Should I be worried, or is this a normal part of the healing process? When should I see a doctor? Has anyone had a similar experience?
This sounds almost as if pneumonia was not cured properly and if the medications are removed before then this can come back. Better check the lungs more closely.
You should ask your doctor.
