Can anyone help me with chemistry?
I have to do the following chemistry task but I don't understand how to do it. Can someone help me? Plan a chemical model experiment together to demonstrate that a water sample is contaminated with silver ions. Silver will serve as an example of a heavy metal, since most other metals are not permitted for…
Chemistry problem?
Hi, My task is: How many ml of sulfuric acid with a concentration of c(H2SO4)=1 mol/l would be needed to neutralize 20 g of a drain cleaner that consists of 70% solid NaOH? (Reaction equation) I have no idea where or how to proceed or where to start. Kind regards, Kim

Structural formula limits?
Hello, There are molecules like N2O where the structural formula is not trivially applicable. N has 5 valence electrons and O has 6. Nevertheless, there are solutions to this. How do they come about? Do you simply draw more electron pairs (but these don't actually exist in reality, or am I misunderstanding something?)

Sodium acetate and acetic acid are dissolved in water. Then sodium hydroxide solution is added. What do the reaction equations look like? Thanks 🙂
What is the distilled solution and distillate here?
Hey, I need help with my chemistry homework. I'm supposed to determine the distilled solution or the distillate. But I have no idea how that should work, I just wrote water for water because I think that's logical But can someone who knows about this please help me with the others? XD Thanks in advance…
No, that’s 2,3-dimethylhexane.
According to IUPAC you always name the longest chain as a parent system. But this may also go “to the corners”. The loedges are the smallest with 2,3 and thus correctly named.
In addition, hyphens are set only between letters and numbers.
No, look for the longest chain!
It is a 2,3-dimethylhexane.
