Is this the right way to improve my language?
Russian is my second native language, and I'm currently in a country where, at least in my area, 95% of the people speak Russian. But not Russia.
However, when I'm nervous, my speech gets worse. So I'm jumping in at the deep end and signed up for a week at the gym. Just to meet a lot of people.
Are you there forever or just holidays?
If you live there forever, your Russian automatically improves because your environment is Russian-speaking. If you are only on holiday, you also need Russian-speaking people in Germany with whom you have daily contact, watch movies, listen podcasts, audiobooks, les much, then you automatically improve your Russian. And of course, much to communicate with native speakers.
So at least here you don’t talk too much in the gym!
