The Comdirect is at a comparable level with other direct banks such as the DKB, the ING or the Consorsbank.
A special reason to choose the Comdirect is not my concern.
I’m with the Comdirekt, too. It’s a solid bank, but if you’re planning on trading shares, I’d rather recommend a neobroker.
