Isn't something lost through new learning media?

The question relates to my observation, or rather, a comparison, to my school days: There was no internet (or rather, it wasn't what it is today); you just had your notebooks and textbooks, and you had to do with them. I remember sitting for a long time over math problems, trying things out, etc. It may not have been efficient in relation to the time it took, but it was precisely this experimentation that allowed me to gain a true understanding. You better understand the connections and logical errors.

Nowadays, no one would spend hours puzzling over a task when there are x-explanatory videos available on the Internet, or even apps that provide the solution.

The same applies to grammar. Why bother with a book when there are so many easy-to-understand videos online? The only downside is that, in the long run, they'll be unable to use traditional grammar at all and will ultimately lose the ability to learn anything on their own.

Everyone just wants the solution. One writes from the other (good, now also called AI). And videos explain 20 minutes of inconvenient 3 sets that prepare them for a sensation, language is about 1 million times as much and if you look at every mini progress as a sensation, you can also get satisfied quickly.

But I think the students today also have more time and not as much time for the detail.

I see that. Only that there were school books left us to read more. my favorite thriller was the Bible and I am neither Catholic nor evangelical. Just baptized.

It was not necessary to use any media outside the school books, we did not have loud telephones in the bus, but in normal volume to the common H to do your job, to date. He doesn't just make more knowledge. This promoted grammar, because even kids who had massive grammar problems in writing often did not speak wrong.

There was no faux pas like here every day.

And my producer was a German teacher who, of course, had everything in the bookcase, which was understood under heavy food and the complete series Duden/ Meyers Vertriebslexikon/ die Großer Brockhaus.

There's always a new way to go.

In principle Youtube was just what came over there was something completely different.

When she died in 2019, the fire department took everything from novels around the corner. Our A&V cheer screams about the three book series. Meyers is still traded today for 600 to 1000€.

I can assure you that you are still brooding about mathematics for a long time, the explanation videos do not give the solution. You have only one advantage if my parents can't do it if the teacher is in the well-deserved evening, then this is available to me as a tool. It's a tool that I'm developing skills.

There's nothing going to be lost.

And why should the grammar that is explained in a video be another one that is taught to me in the book? It doesn't make sense, only the tool is a different one.

And as I said, look at a video like this, that's not a complete solution, that's a help, no more.

Nowadays, learning is much easier. Online you can quickly find good tips, even finished solutions.

Books are great, right. But you need luck finding yours.

Here the internet comes into play.

The Internet is a huge library. But there is also a lot of waste of time.

If there is no internet, my social skills would be more pronounced. Would be more balanced. And my German would be more diverse. I think it would be more physically fit.

But for that I would not be generally informed, but only locally (except what the radio or the newspaper spatters out). I would hardly find old books, and I would not have learned another language, such as English or French. No Sanskrit either. Yeah, my horizon would be smaller. My imagination for it is much bigger.

Provides advantages and disadvantages. It just has to be skillful to use. It's difficult for adults. But for young people, especially today, even a little dangerous. It was my youth, 15 years ago. Nevertheless, not in the same size.

By the way, thanks to the Internet, I found a lot of puzzles.
