Is this sentence true: "If you can program, you no longer need to write an application. The employers will come by themselves"?

Is this newspaper right or is it just nonsense: https://www.sueddeutsche.de/karriere/karriere-quereinstieg-programmieren-1.4367719

Programming together with ChatGPT (or having someone else program it 😉 works quite well 😉

Yeah. Unfortunately, projects in the working environment do not work as if you program with chat cpt. Mostly, there are projects where several developers work, such as GF, for example, then you should program the function with which you select the most helpful answer. How to chat cpt this without knowing the whole project code? You need to change a small part of the code in several files. Man should feed the program with the whole project. This will probably also go in the future, but how do you make sure that no safety-critical data is drawn and the code is being validated or copied for other projects?

And the other part of your question: no. It’s hard to find work. Always. Even if you’re good and have experience, many programmers I’ve always known are unemployed for a few JAHRE, but they are also employed by large companies, like Siemens. It depends more on vitamin B and the place of residence.

This sentence is true: “If you can program, you no longer need to write an application. Employers come from themselves?

Headhunters are looking for programmers. If you leave a “Hi I can X and search Y” on pages like Xing, they will report. However, they are also reported when “Here I can’t find x and I can’t search.” sometimes write and call to the AG (and no warning like the ones coming to the election)

Programming together with ChatGPT (to let program;) works well;)

It’ll take you 0.

Pure programmers don’t think anyone’s going to introduce. It’s always about it. Speak from verbally or in writing “we would like” or “we need” or “the law says we must come to an implementation from March”. In my experience, specifications rarely come up to never technically correct and complete and sometimes do not even give what is really wanted. I’ve spent more time in meetings than with programming.

Is this newspaper right or it’s rather bullshit:

The article is of course somewhat exaggerated. But he’s more than four years old.

Programming together with ChatGPT (to let program;) works well;)

Just such people are not looking for and not paid great.

If you have experience and a profile on LinkedIn, you will be actively written by Recruitern. That doesn’t mean you get the job.

of course, plus 100€ hour wage and company car.

is just like in the care, you don’t have to write an application, because of the personal lack you just go and ask where to sign

The same applies to football players and then look at how many of them can live very well. The southern German sometimes has ammutations like the picture newspaper to want to become.

No. How should they learn that one exists?!

Where? You knock at the car dealer’s office in your city and ask if BMW is currently looking for programmers? Or you walk to the door at local startup and ask? Both are unlikely. Because even if they are looking for programmers, there are many different languages and development environments and focal points. A robot programmer close to the machine can, for example, not create an animation at Zalando or write an AI.

Well, you create an account on Xing or LinkedIn and then you get inquiries about whether you don’t want to work for XY companies.
