Is this normal (trigger warning)?

I had my four wisdom teeth removed last Friday. Three of them seem to be healing well, but I'm worried about one of them. This bright white line leading to the stitches. What is that? Is that normal, or is something infected there? It's the only one of the four that still hurts. Should I go ahead, or is everything normal and I can wait until Friday when the stitches are supposed to be removed anyway.

Hello Zane174,

Is that normal or does it ignite??

Yes and no.

It is normal that the healing proceeds differently. A light-white line to the seam can be fibrous tissue or sewing material. Pain in a tooth can indicate slow healing or slight irritation. Signs of inflammation are persistent pain, swelling, pussy, unpleasant taste or fever. If such symptoms occur, you should go to the dentist. If the pain is bearable and no other symptoms occur, you can wait until Friday.
