Is this normal for a dog?
I have a little pug, and every time she's on my bed, she starts digging. I try to get her to stop, but unfortunately, she keeps going. She always digs for at least 10 minutes before she lies down. I'm not sure if it's normal for her to do this.
That's normal. This is simply an instinct to build a cowl and make sure that no snakes etc. are near the sleeping place😁
Put a blanket on the bed to the dog so that he can dig to his heart's pleasure.
My Chihuahua is doing this with preference. He always needs a blanket that he can cuff and cuff around together. Only then is he happy.
Our big one (no pugs) has also often “made his bed”, turned several times in circles until he found it good and could lie down. All this, however, only in his dog bed, when he slept with us, was apparently all “right”. Some of them do.
I have the third female and we had 2 at home.
None of them did this, so I'm going to assume it's not normal.
This scratch has something to do with urinetics. The dog trainer once told us.
They want to make sure that doesn't get any danger from below.
Maybe it hurts because she's a torment, let her check it out on a vet
