Is this fraud?

I've seen some guys on eBay or other websites offering games for 20% of the RRP. How does that work? Also, they don't give a key, but a Steam account with email access. Why are they selling it so cheaply and an account instead of a key? There's a rip-off there, right? Are they doing something illegal?

I would never buy an account if 2FA is enabled and you have no access to the mail.

Otherwise you buy and the seller changes the password and you have nothing.

And even if you change everything, you can just get the account back.

Now e-mail accounts usually have a stored phone number, that’s how it works. Just buy a key at MMOGA.

Simply prove to the support that it is your account. This goes through deposited data, original email, redeemed game keys, paypal or credit card billing, as there are some ways to get the account back.

How? That would really interest me? By showing stored data? Recovery codes?

According to Steam AGB, it is forbidden to sell its account…

So the purchase is also prohibited, as you buy Hehlerware, because these accounts are all stolen…

Yes, they do with illegal things, the whole process is illegal…

You could all report to Steam… But who does..

On the one hand, there are accounts where the games were registered, on the other hand, there are often enough stolen accounts. I wouldn’t buy that. 😊

I also don’t, including, for me too, give the opportunity to give external people access to your account so that they can level up…
