Is there some blood after frequent bowel movements?

I have been having bowel movements quite often lately and since then there is sometimes a bit of fresh blood on the paper. Is that normal? Could something have torn due to the frequent bowel movements?

Was the stool more firm or softer?

can also come through an anal fissure.
