Is there an app for cutting?

Hey, I want to stop cutting myself and wanted to ask if there's an app for that. Skills don't work for me. I don't want therapy.

Thanks in advance!!!

I don’t know why you’re afraid of therapy, but if you force yourself, it wouldn’t be good either. I’m in a therapy but actually a person who doesn’t like to talk to others. You don’t have to say anything in a therapy, so you don’t have to feel compelled. You can play and wait until you’re ready. You have the opportunity to ask the the therapist out (at least I have been so)

There's a reason for scratching, and he's got to be eliminated.

An app will temporarily keep you from it, but as soon as the actual problem (eg bullying, social media fakes, toxic friends etc.) occurs again, there is a fall.

So first therapy to eliminate the cause, and THEN the app to create the bounce.

The whole thing reminds me of our old colleagues:

Trainee: I can't fix the screw? Colleague: Is there no app for it?!

I can only urge you to get professional help quickly. That you hurt yourself is not the basic problem; Therefore, it is necessary, with the aid of the therapist/therapist, to determine the cause(s) and to proceed constructively. Even if it doesn’t matter, you’re afraid: you, your future & your life, you should take the step and make a therapy. This will not always be easy: You need (self)beautifulness, frustration tolerance, perseverance, etc., in addition, open communication & a good basis of trust between you & the therapist (m/w) are enormously important.

It’s definitely worth it, because you’ll find your inner balance, improve your quality of life & joy/enrich yourself massively. You are a valuable person and life keeps so much beautiful & positive for you – BITTE is worth it and let you help.

I wish you the best, take care of yourself:)

I use the app “Iamsober” there you can track how long you are clean, and can post both texts and those of others. He helped me because you can see any progress.

Am now 1218 days clean 😙

Without therapy you hardly have a chance that it is like a addiction 🙂

I didn’t hear anything about it, but apps to relax come down to be clear, etc. There are also much better alternatives to scratch e.g. hard rubber around poor and then pull and let go.

But unfortunately, does not fight the cause…

An app won’t help you eliminate the reasons. Get help in real life (family, friends, teachers etc).

Therapies do not work through apps. You’re not a computer program, you’re a human.
