Is there a website where you can see what is being googled per city, for example?
I'm looking for a website that's more accurate than Google Trends and shows what people are Googled for in each city? Or what people are searching for on Facebook, etc.
It's for a school project 🙂

may give you an overview of your project, and I know what you need.
Google is the largest search engine provider (Germany), so Google also offers the most extensive public database that shows such trends.
Regional differentiation also indicates Google. Here you can see how to evaluate data & trends: Google News Initiative
If you want to resort specifically to trends of local places, you should first collect these data yourself (by eg surveys).
wow cool – thank you very much! We should find out what people google e.g. Potsdam compared to Berlin and so on. Not only the biggest topics should be visible, but also small niches (the worries & thoughts of a Teeny girl in Brandenburg) what google them… and then we will see what everyone has in common
