Is there a program running in the background on YouTube?

Since the beginning of the year, I've noticed that YouTube has become very slow. Videos take a strangely long time to load. Even if you press pause, there's a delay. When you type something into the comment field, each individual letter appears a few seconds late. What's going on with YouTube? Is there some kind of legal change, or is there some new censorship program running in the background or something?

Is there any legal innovation and there is any new censorship program in the background or something?

I can calm you down first. There is no (at least it is not known to me). I don’t know what these phenomena should have to do with censorship.

YouTube is of course committed to making the user experience as good as possible. Unfortunately, web browsers with large video files and multiple simultaneous action do not get as clear and consume a lot of memory or for a short time also power from the main processor.

You can try different browsers (with me, YouTube is running better under Firefox than under Chrome).

The fact that the page is as extreme as you write is absolutely uncommon. It happens sometimes, but usually not so strong.

k.a what’s going on, but I’ve already observed this with the text delay here on gf.net. You tap something or want to write something and the written appears only with 30 seconds delay or the whole window lagged massively behind. I have a relatively powerful PC, where something should never happen!

If you’re on a PC, I wouldn’t know anything about wanted background programs only at Youtube. If you’re on a PC, I’d look for background programs in the CMD or in the Task Manager.
