Is the tax allowance taken into account directly?

Hello

For example, if you have an allowance of €9,000, is this taken into account immediately or only when you file your tax return?

It is incorporated in most pay tax classes and is therefore considered.

Partly. When referring to a regular constant salary over 12 months, the tax advance payment, via the appropriate tax class, is designed to take into account the basic amount.

However, if one works only for one month, the amount of tax is collected as if it were a tax of the total annual income. There it is therefore not taken into account that one may not have any further income and the total amount was in the basic amount.

You can already announce this amount in advance, for example, at AG, then the less pay tax is deducted more net.
Otherwise, you will give it to your tax return and receive corresponding repayment
