I've been using my Chromebook for a while now, and recently it's been crashing and restarting, and then a pop-up appears saying my Chromebook has restarted unexpectedly. Hey,
I looked at the Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q Tiny more closely. The PC has an Intel Celeron G3900T processor with 2.6 GHz, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. This could be enough for a Proxmox Media server, especially if you don’t have many computational tasks.
However, you should remember that the Celeron processor is rather at the lower end of the power scale. So if you’re planning to run several VMs or container-based applications, it could be tight.
Hello, thanks for the answer, I just have to run Plex before it, and possibly stream with 2x devices at the same time, would that be possible? MfG.
Note:
If you’d run MS Windows on the device, you’d have a nice slideshow. Take a Linux distribution e.g. Linux Mint Mate or even the XFCE version, then you should also have more resources available for Plex.
yes, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q Tiny should be enough for Plex and streaming with two devices simultaneously. Although the Intel Celeron G3900T is not the most powerful processor, it should be enough for easier tasks such as streaming media via Plex. Make sure to keep the streams in a moderate resolution to ensure smooth playback.
Good luck!
MfG

The Celeron is already quite weak, I would take a few euros in hand, e.g. for the M910Q Tiny
