Is it true that some people, for example, suffer more often from gastrointestinal illnesses because they are predisposed to them, but suffer less from other illnesses, such as urinary tract infections or infections in general?

Absolutely. I remember myself. Every body/organism/immune system is different.
If there is a study that proves that, then that could be true. If not, this is a rumor or Random.
I don’t know if that’s true. I personally have chronic stomach/intestinal problems, but toi toi never had a bladder infection. 🤷
