Hi guys, I've been working at a new company for three years. For two and a half years, I've been doing my regular jobs, which I always enjoyed and enjoyed going to work. For the past six months, I've been training in a new department that I don't like at all. I'm always hesitant about…
How stressful is your job? Do you look forward to it in the morning? Or not so much?

If you really like the technology, and it doesn’t bother you learning things again and again, then software development is for you. The payment can be high, but that depends on where you are and the experience.
Boring job.
There are so many cool things that you can work as a studied computer scientist.
Boring? That’s your opinion, but I think it’s interesting.
You must like it..
It’s just high level stuff where you just sit around and repair any merge requests
The software developer is already relatively low level. High level I would see more management, planning, consulting, etc.
And why should you just repair any Merge Requests? This will probably be under 1% of my work.
Not even that’s just sitting around me, for example, as I’m about 10+ weeks at the customer’s office, where you’re going a lot, what’s tried out, sometimes from other topics like user training and co.
In the end, it also comes to the size of the company and how quickly the world turns. In an SME it is just different from a huge group where everything goes over 20 tables.
For my part, software development is still exciting after 12 years in the profession and several years before it is a hobby.
