Is sleep paralysis sleepwalking possible?

Hello, my dear fellow human beings,

There's both sleepwalking and sleep paralysis. So I wanted to ask you if there's something like a combination of both.

What I imagine is something like being conscious but not being able to control your body even though it is moving.

Are the two things mutually exclusive?

Would it be possible in theory, but not in practice?

Does it exist, but I'm imagining the wrong thing?

I'm definitely looking forward to all your answers!

I think it’s mutually exclusive. I don’t sleepwalk, but I’ve had sleep paralysis several times, and it’s really that you can’t move even though you want. I am therefore relatively certain that it is mutually exclusive.

Paralysis means paralysis in German.

You can’t move, let alone go.

No, because during a sleep paralysis the body still sleeps while the brain is partly awake!
