Is PC hardware good and suitable?

It would be nice if someone took the time to check out some PC hardware parts to see if they fit. I'm not 100% sure, so it would be great if someone did.

GIGABYTE Z790 D AX motherboard

Yeah, that’s good! I’d adjust a few little things.

You have a 500W power supply, very little resources. Here I would take a 650W power supply min. If the power consumption is important to you, then also at least a gold-certified, e.g. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

I would also be Other M2 take.

Also an AIO would recommend Enermax is price-performance king if you buy the flagship. It should be at least 260 or better 360. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

I would also like to do that in the case be quiet! PURE BASE 500 FX take. This has a much better airflow.

All in all, but not bad the config.

Basically okay. Depends on what you want. Resolution, E-Sport or AAA?

Personally, I wouldn’t pair the 14700k with a 4060ti.

Let’s say 1080p and current games

Tip: more gaming performance you have with the 13600 or 14600k, the 200€ saving you will baller into a better graphics card. Something like a 4070 super, maybe even 4070 ti super.

Got a 13700k myself, and then I took my savings towards 4090.

Smooth…

The GPU is very good for the 14700.
A 13700k is too weak for a 4090.

We have already said that it is important to play, that is quite clear.
The resolution also plays a major role.

But I was referring to an average. In the comparison between 13700K and 14900KS, however, it makes a difference in great and very well. If that wasn’t the case, no expensive CPUs would buy because they don’t. You forget the single-core performance that the FPS also boosts in the GPU limit.

He wants to dock on 1080p, a 4070 Super + 14600K would have a bottleneck of almost 30%. That’s not a good pairing. There the 14700K + 4060 TI is much better and more meaningful.

Plays with a 4090 maxed out 4k. I’d have upgraded if it were to make a difference.

Hardware Dealz, for example, does not even give 5% in gaming. In comparison, both the k variants, a non k is slightly weaker than the 13700k. Well noted, the tests on 1080p.

Where a 14700k pulls away thanks to the e cores, productivity things

No… or always comes to the resolution. In 1080p with something like Rainbow Six Siege, that’s right. There is no processor to load. But in Full HD no one will use the 4090.

I’m on UHD. There is always the graphics card to the bottleneck. Same with exceptions in 1440p… My card is always loaded.

You can take a Ryzen 9 7950x, a 7800x3d or i7 13700k or 14900ks. It makes 0 difference on high resolutions.

One time off, a 14700k and 13700k likewise makes no difference.

Yes, the 14700k can make up to 25% with the help of the additional Cinebench accelerators. But don’t do anything because the e cores are as good as nix in the gaming scenario.

In gaming, the performance in the CPU limit is 1080p then max. 5-10% faster.

That’s why I proposed better take the i5 and take a better graphics card for it

That’s right.

Depends on the exact games.

Exactly and a 14700k would still have a bottleneck of about 5% – 6% but what is in the optimal range. A 13700K about 11%. What is no longer in the optimal range.
You said loose, for my terms, the system would have to be easy in the GPU Bottleneck to make it easy.

For me and my PCs, the optimal range is either max. 10% in the GPU or max. 10% in the CPU Bottleneck. That is +-10%.

Although the term does not fit loosely for my opinion, I wanted to come up with it.

Raptor2799

Well, the 14700k is only 10-15% stronger.

BigBenGermany

I don’t think so, but yes, the Bottleneck would still be acceptable. You’re right. A 14700K would make it easy on 4K.

Raptor2799

In 4k, the 13700k can easily load the 4090.

A 4090 is too strong in all common resolutions for a 13700k, unless it is playing on 8K. The pairing should be almost perfect. But I dare to doubt that.

Raptor2799

It depends. If he doesn’t play shooter on 1080p, what you have with a 4090 but also not.

It’s a little more expensive, but worlds better. You wouldn’t find it good later if your graphics card puts a thumb cinema at higher resolutions. It can easily get 4k instead of getting problems at 1440p. The rest :

Faster SSD

better CPU cooler

Better processor (without the Intel problems)

It also costs a little more, but no Intel problems and more performance at 1080p and above all higher resolutions.

Moin, first of all: What do you want to use the PC for? But I wouldn’t buy Intel CPUs right now. And the 4060 TI has a very bad price performance. I’d rather buy an RX 7700XT. And CPU would be enough a Ryzen 5 7600X if you wanted to use it for gaming. And I would also take another power supply. I like the Corsair RM750/850x.
