Is my Applepen 1 deeply discharged after 3 weeks of non-use?

Hello, if I haven't charged/used my Apple Pen Gen. 1 for about four weeks, is it deeply discharged, or can it still be repaired? I let the pen charge overnight, and nothing happened. I re-paired it and restarted my iPad, but nothing happened. The charging symbol for the pen is still displayed, i.e., 0%. Are there any solutions, or do I need to buy a new one?

If Apple should have a little on the box, it won’t happen so fast.

Normally, devices are switched off completely from a certain residual capacity, so that the batteries are not simply discharged deeply.

I have recoupled it and my iPad restarted nothing happened, but the load sign for the pen is displayed so 0%

How much time did you give the devices to recharge?

Then, in fact, something should not be right with the battery.

However, for comparison:
Both my Kindle Paperwhite and my olles iPad have no problems with depth discharge with “4 weeks without current”.
That’s why it’s a little weird.

On the other hand:
With a device from 2015/2016, the probability is likely to be high that the battery is simply through. This then has to do with depth discharge, but with simple wear.

When You what’s been bought by wuppe?

The ge1 comes from 2015/2016. Gen2 from 2018.
Even stocks from 2018 have 8 years on the hump.

What is this?

Do you really think that this will do what with supposedly old and defective batteries?
Sure, if you enjoy it, take it easy….
