Is moving because of a hobby absurd?

Hello everyone,

I am 21 years old and live in a small village in northeastern Germany.
Since I was born, I have been going to almost every FC Bayern away game and also frequently to home games (as long as time and money allow).

Since I plan to look for a new job next year and that is almost impossible here in the area, I am thinking about moving near Munich (Augsburg or similar) because the chances of getting a job there are of course much better and I can then watch almost every game, which would be a dream for me.

My question now is, is it absurd to move far away from your usual environment for a new job and a huge passion? I don't know anyone in the area, so I'm a bit skeptical.
