Is it worth replacing the thermal paste on the RTX 4090?
Hello, I have a question: Is it worth replacing the thermal paste on my 4090 Suprim x? A lot of people do that, and I'd like to know if it's worth it and if anyone has any experience with it? I'm supposed to use Alphacool Apex paste with a thermal conductivity of 17 W/mK, which is supposed to be the best available. The problem is that I have a brand new graphics card and I don't know if I'll void the warranty if I replace it, or if it's worth it, so I wanted to ask you. I don't know much about it, and I've been really unsure since reading this article 😀 :

Alleine weils sich schon nicht lohnt, würd ichs nicht machen. Gibt wahrscheinlich maximal 1 °C Unterschied wenn gut läuft.

Abgesehen davon, daß die Garantie erlischt, wenn man an der Graka herum bastelt.
Aber so nach 4 Jahren, oder länger, könnte man vielleicht noch einmal darüber nachdenken.
