Is it worth changing accounts?
meal together,
a short and concise question.
Is it worth switching accounts from Sparkasse – in my case Hattingen – to ING?
ING has been recommended to me several times.
I haven’t been with Sparkasse Hattingen for long.
I think I would also apply for a credit card from Banknorwegian .
Greetings
Whether a change is “paid” for you can be answered so generally hard.
It depends on what is important to you at a bank, what requirements and expectations you have.
The ING has advantages and disadvantages, and there are also other alternatives, such as e.g. the 1822 direct or the DKB.
I don’t have many requirements. Possibly no account management fees, lifting/ depositing almost free of charge or almost everywhere possible. What is not possible with the savings bank when depositing. In addition, when paying with the card on the e.g., coffee machines” at work, I pay 1€ fee – where only coffee costs only 0.85€.
If you need free deposits, the ING is already a little suited. Deposits are possible at a few private machines, at the travel bank or at certain retail partners, but none of them is free (from 01.12.2024).
In addition, ING (also from 01.12.2024) requires 1.49 euros per month for the Girocard (the Visa debit card is free of charge).
The fee for the card payment on the coffee machine surprises me. What account model do you have at Sparkasse Hattingen?
