Is it wise to fix a cable connection with Tesa?

I used Tesa to connect a cable and solder to a toy lights but because I couldn't attach it any other way. Since it's a toy, I don't think it's a big deal, or am I wrong?

As it is battery-operated toys, there is no risk of this even if one can touch parts that are poorly or not insulated at all.

Did you solder the cable again, or make the contact virtually only by "pressing" through the adhesive strip? The latter would of course not keep good.

Camping tip: if you need an improvised shrink tubing (for voltages < 48V!) on the quick: a piece of plastic bag or freshening foil + lighter works great.
