Is it really an unusually long time to fall asleep if it takes longer than 15 minutes?
I've just heard/read that. I can't imagine it and I don't believe it. If I need less than an hour, I find it quick, and if, for example, only half an hour, I find it extremely quick. The average is between 1 and 2 hours. I've tried different bedtimes (early and late) and all the things there are (ASMR, autogenic training, hypnosis, progressive muscle relaxation, suitable sleeping surface (mattress and pillow)) and I've never in my life (except maybe as a baby or toddler) fallen asleep in 15 minutes. I don't drive myself crazy about having to fall asleep, even though I never get a restful night's sleep and am unhappy about it.
One hour or two to fall asleep is disgusting. You always have to go to bed at 7 p.m. or to be slept.
So no’s not normal. Have you ever been to a sleep lab?
Seriously? How did you measure that with the 15 minutes? It can’t be.
You don’t sleep refreshly and are dissatisfied. That’s enough to go to the sleep lab.
The 15 minutes are just an approximate target. But 1-2 h is too much.
If an hour is so long, what if you are completely awake for one night? 😅 What is the increase of absentee long? 😅
The whole night awake is no longer falling asleep.
You’re in a strange bed in the sleep lab? How can a person sleep normally/good?
On holiday you are also in a foreign bed and you can sleep well.
