Is it possible to learn Spanish with YouTube?
There are good videos on YouTube of people teaching Spanish.
Would that be enough, or do you absolutely HAVE to attend a course/training?

YouTube is a huge portal and there are also good material/from teachers and native speakers. The question is whether you find the good material immediately and recognize it as a beginner as such.
The next problem is the level. You can address any topic in different differentiations. Example: ser and estar. This appears at A1 but is much more complex and there are many special cases/exceptions. If you now listen to a good video at too high level, it can be that it is confused or just too much at once. Or, for example, the passive is addressed, of which you don’t know anything yet.
Another problem is passivity. You just listen, don’t make your own sentences.
That said, as already mentioned, YouTube is huge and perhaps there are channels where one is gradually approached. But that comes a little short with the exercises and active application
You can learn Spanish through all possible sources. However, a course brings it to the point and is more complete in the width than, for example, videos, which usually only describe a problem with tears, in order to then remedy it.
