Is it possible to format an M.2 SSD by removing it or not?
I didn't know how to ask the question differently, but I have a problem…
I bought an m.2 ssd and installed and set it up,
But my Windows froze during an update, and then I simply turned off the PC and destroyed the operating system. I wanted to reinstall Windows, but I can no longer format the SSD via the Windows installation because I keep getting an error code, namely 0x80070001.
The question is, can I format the SSD by simply removing it or will it stay saved and do I have to buy a new one?
You take a Windows stick and start from this one.
Custom installation and there you can actually format it, Delete.
I tried the same error code
The stick works?
Do it.
I’ll send her back
Thanks for the help
Then you could really find a defect, Linux Live DVD you can still try, but don’t ask me.
So I’m taking this over Mmc and the disk administration now comes the error message “an unexisting device has been specified”
It may be a guarantee case.
I’ll try this next time I’ve got bad luck I have to buy a new one then I think the drive is broken
I’m overwhelmed, too.
Connect to another computer and format it in the disk management.
yes I wanted to reinstall windows as I said, but I can’t delete the partition anymore because then that error code comes
Hello,
that has nothing to do with the SSD first.
