Is it possible to emigrate to Japan and study?

Hello,

I have a question for everyone!

I live in Austria and would like to move to Japan after completing my training and study there for 2-3 years.

Of course, until then, I'll learn the language as best I can and learn a lot about the country. I'll definitely take language courses, and if I'm not mistaken, you get a certificate for that. I looked at the Go Go Nihon website, and it says that most universities require a 12-year education, and (most are people with a high school diploma, after all), so I thought it might be possible with an apprenticeship. My question is:

• Are the requirements met if I have enough budget and can speak the language very well?

• And I once read that you need proof of language proficiency. Do you have to take this in Japan, and is it a certificate for admission to university?

I hope I wrote everything carefully.

Thank you very much for the answers!

LG

Usually you only get 1 year visa to study, as a year abroad, so to speak.

The JLPT is probably used as a proof of language, which can be used again and again in the country. You probably need JLPT N1 or N2, which is a very high level (the lowest is N5)

Come on to school.

They decide whether you meet the minimum requirements of the school. The decision of the school is the first step for your student visa.
