Is it normal for pudding in a jar to make such a puffy noise when opened?

Hello,

I bought this Sylt caramel pudding from Dorfkrug today. It cracked when I opened it, and it was hard to open, but what surprised me was that it popped like a little "bomb." No fizz or anything, just a quick POP. 😀

Is this normal? Or rather, normal with glass pudding in general? It tasted normal and has an expiration date of June 17th.

if he didn’t, you shouldn’t eat him anymore.

the crack comes, which is a vacuum in the glass. not only at pudding, at all cans in the glass.

You can even check if the vacuum is still present. when you press centrally on the lid and he doesn’t give up everything is okay!

of course only when, or before 1.

Yes, many people don’t know anymore. because in bigmac packaging does not work 😅.

Just do the test. before the first open centrally press and then again, before 2. times

If you do not get such glass, you can make a small rotary movement laterally off edge, with nem with a knife/spoon, then air comes in and the lid goes up very easily.

I usually take a knife or if the distance between the lid and the rim is large enough a spoon with the handle at the front and easily lift the lid, you can hear immediately when it is sintered or plop.

Yes, this is a sign that the glass has not been opened before.

The pudding has been hotly filled into the glass and closed when it cools off forms a vacuum when you open the glass now it flops because the pressure balances.
