I can't confirm that, all the people I know with the name Karl-Heinz (or Karlheinz) (and there are quite a few) are/react very differently,
And as for the name Kevin, many of those who are no longer so young associate it with the fact that from the mid-90s to the mid-2000s, this name was often used for boys who weren't necessarily the "brightest candle on the cake," which is absolutely not true for the three boys named Kevin that I know.
