Is it better to wait until you are sure that you are ready to address the fear/anxiety of slipping into B/P behavior in therapy?

I am in therapy for anorexia

so that you are sure that it will continue to happen, not just once a few times

On the other hand, I'm sometimes really scared of slipping into it/having already slipped into it and have been crying for a while because of it. It really stresses me out now and then, but then it's okay again.

My therapist also knows that I started vomiting (and previously took laxatives), but I have the feeling that this is partly heading towards binge eating/bulimic behavior, which she isn't entirely aware of (she thought it was good that I was still somewhat hungry).

I'm not really sure how I can even say/explain this and I'm really scared of it

What is your fear when you tell her?

Because I would definitely be for it. A therapy only makes sense when you can talk openly and honestly with your therapist. Of course it takes time. Your relationship of trust must also form and strengthen.

But your therapist is the second person you should be absolutely honest about. The first person you are. If you don’t dare to say it, write an email to the therapist!

The therapy can best help you if you are open and honest there. If you don’t dare to tell your therapist in the face, you could write it to her in a letter and give it to her. :
