Is it a metaphor?
Hey,
I have to write a poem for school in which I revive a dead metaphor. I would have tried the metaphor "losing a word," but I'm not sure whether that's a metaphor or a dead metaphor. Originally, I wanted to revive "not losing a word," but that didn't make sense in the context of my poem.
Thanks for the help and best regards.
Try it with a double agreement that becomes yes.
So, “no lost word” or how? But, is “lost a word” a metaphor?
No. A metaphor is a parable as Jesus used it. He illustrated spiritual things, such as the kingdom of God, with a coin that one has found when someone has understood the kingdom correctly.
Sorry, but you’re so bad in answering questions. But thanks
No – is a double denial – because you still have all the words
Which of the two is a phrase? Losing a word or losing a word? And how would you build or formulate the double-agreement?
