Is it a good idea to deactivate your Facebook account?
I have 85 friends there, but why? None of them write to me… or are interested in my posts. This has nothing to do with social media anymore, in my opinion.
Do you still use that crap called "Facebook"?
I only use Facebook for the bonuses of some video games, otherwise usually not. If you want to search people from 40, Facebook is also very practical. I found my math teacher there. But otherwise I don’t use Facebook.
If you think about it, it's more geared towards commerce than communication.
But for almost everything there is a free open source alternative or another portal.
In fact, that's no longer the case on YouTube: There's simply no other video platform. There used to be MyVideo, but it lost out to YouTube.

Maybe with TikTok or Facebook videos and other short videos, but no real alternative video platform in the format of YouTube . There are only small, ad-laden competing video platforms like Dailymotion or Vimeo, but no free video platforms.

I’ve never used Facebook. Time spent
