Is fresh chocolate bad or just fatty?

I just unwrapped a fresh bar of hazelnut chocolate that's best before August 21, 2024. And what immediately caught my eye was that it had a lot of white spots. I'm no expert when it comes to this sort of thing, but I don't really want to get sick and would rather double-check that it's not mold or whatever, but just ripe sugar fat or whatever it's called.

In the past, chocolate products often found that such a coating can form, but it would not impair the quality. That must be some sort of blooms of ingredients.

However, it was always the case that they were exchanged if they were not to eat with the blooming.

I'd take her back anyway. First of all, you don't take a risk, second you have a flawless chocolate that you can eat with appetite and carelessly.

Yeah, it's just fat crystals. I'd eat them.

It was obviously wrong, but it is not harmful.
