Is business administration overplayed?
Can you still study business administration in 2025?

I started my training as a dental assistant 10 months ago and was dissatisfied with it from the beginning. I didn’t have much time to think about what kind of training I would like to do (it was an “emergency solution”). Things didn't get any better from one (large practice) to another (small practice, 3…
Hey, I'd like to change driving schools. Is the email okay or would you change anything else? Good day, I'm interested in your driving school and have a question. I'm almost finished with my theory lessons, but I'd like to change driving schools because my instructor doesn't offer enough practical driving lessons. Would it theoretically…
Good morning! I have to go back to boarding school today for my training (I'm 17). I'd like to drop out because I don't feel comfortable with it mentally, and my mother knows about it, but I have my parenting support worker who doesn't care. I have a 7th grade leaving certificate. I'd like to…
Hey, I've been thinking about studying to become a primary school teacher after graduating from high school, but I have to study a subject like the regular ones. Has anyone heard which subject is the "easiest"? I know, of course, that every subject is challenging, but I've heard, for example, that geography should be doable….
Hi, I've been applying for jobs since August of last year but haven't received a confirmation yet. So I applied for another call center position. They were hiring, and they hired me, but I can't do this long-term anymore. It's not just the job that dissatisfies me, but also the low pay and the ridiculous…
I have a 2-week internship as a carpenter and I need help with the expectations of everyday working life. I can't think of anything and I just can't imagine it.
BWL – the absolute classic among the courses. Feels everyone knows someone who has studied (or even thought about it). But is the subject now blew? Or is it worth studying BWL in 2025?
On the one hand, there is much to say: The economy will always exist, companies need professionals in areas such as management, finance or marketing. New fields of business are created by digitalization and globalization, in which well-trained economists are in demand. Those who specialize in the right areas can still build a solid career today.
But then there is this eternal vulture: “BWL is studying everyone who does not know what else to do.” And it is not quite wrong – the market is full of graduates. If you only go through the standard program and don’t have any additional qualifications, it might be hard. The competition is huge, and simple BWL degrees without specialization are no longer worth as much as before.
Does that mean BWL is dead? Not necessarily. As with everything, it depends on what you do. If you collect early practical experience, acquire specialized skills and not just the standard route, you can also score with BWL in 2025. People with know-how in areas such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Economics or Digital Marketing are particularly asked.
So, is BWL still a good choice? Well, it depends. Anyone who only studies it because he wants to do something about business could be disappointed. However, those who are cleverly up and go with time will also have good chances in the future. Because at the end of the day: economy will never come out of fashion – right?
Don’t study anything, because you should be aware of what you want to be professional. Also, you don’t have to study because there are many great professions with an education.
Study what you don’t like what others say
Hüstel…BWL is less a ‘foresting science’, but is mainly used to start and run a company after studying iwo as a manager. You can always need that…
