Is an Amex just about collecting Payback points?
I find it somehow strange to spend €720 a year to be able to collect a few small points that are worth a few cents, like Payback points, and then after a year to spend a lot of money to take a €100 flight for free.
Getting a small flight insurance policy for a few euros cheaper than people who didn't pay €720 and still feel important and eat a lot in some airport lounge.
I also simply assume that you wouldn't be able to go there every day, or that you wouldn't be allowed to do everything like real Premium Lounge guests. I assume that's only for second-class guests. If you fly every day for work, would you then only be allowed €720 to buy champagne, wine, sparkling wine, whiskey, sushi, shrimp, cigars, etc.? Or is there just regular Coke with a few fries and pizza?
It has nothing to do with prestige, anyone can come up with €60 a month, but it's definitely not worth it.
I don't know why a frequent flyer would want to sit around in lounges, they have a tight schedule.
Flight attendants probably have their own lounges that are paid for by their employer.
Or on which points am I wrong?
For the first time, there are far more cards than the AMEX platinum, including free cards.
However, the platinum card also contains much more, including a
And of course, you can collect points, participate in the Turbo program and use the AMEX Offers. In most cases there is also a one-off credit of 200€.
If you use all this, you can get the costs back in quite quickly. The emphasis is on “if you use it”.
Whether this is worthwhile is therefore very individual.
Okay, thanks.
So really exclusively for people who like to go to any events and love it.
For everyone else, the Sixt Balance or Priority Pass does not have this 460€ counter value at all.
A lot of people want to be rich, and if you think about one thing of savers is like payback.
You need an income of 2400€, which is good-average but not the world today.
I don’t think that a very prosperous person thinks about it, and isn’t it a bit prosty when visiting the restaurant still need to ask if they accept an amex instead of a normal Mastercard / Visa?
And then a platinum/gold shimmering card is bred. Looks very nice, it wouldn’t be my way to be very noticeable.
I used to always thought you could make something special about buying a 200,000€ property without having to call the bank or anything else.
Is the Black Card that can be sure but that has only richest 0.01% worldwide and this Milliadary doesn’t care.
