Is a to-do list useful?
There are sometimes things that I forget during the day, like studying for an hour or other things, so I lack a bit of structure.
or things that occur to me in the evening that I want to do tomorrow and then set several alarms for everything which is a bad solution in the long run
Can a to-do list help? Other tips and advice?
Clearly it can help to get into everyday life through a list or generally through lists.
For example, in my kitchen there is always a block and a pen. So I can always add the shopping list when I notice that something is missing. I also have a note app on the phone for information that I may not need immediately, but later (Christmas wish list of family members e.g., songs that I have heard and later want to listen at home, funny spells).
I can also write down on the way what I don’t want to forget. Calendar on the mobile phone is also useful if you do not want to forget a doctor’s appointment or an important task. I set the appointment with ring function.
In addition, I also have a calendar hanging in the kitchen, well visible, which I repeatedly compare with the mobile phone calendar, so that I also have a look at coming dates.
Conclusion: To get structure in everyday life, To-do lists are a super good support!
Okay, thanks
Yes, structure can and must be learned or trained in some cases.
There are two directions: You forget things or you need a more stubborn daily routine. For the first, the To-Do list helps. For the other, a kind of schedule / schedule. Then you probably need to start working with alarm clocks to not do things too long. The latter is more about keeping the order and time management.
Perhaps with the latter also for the week, so that you have a clearer and long-term vision.
So if I have something important in the evening, I’ll do that:
If I have something important to do during the day:
Otherwise you can also make yourself a wall at home and hang up everything important there so you don’t forget it!
It’s clear!
I also run year planners – and have small note blocks in all possible places in the house…
Even on the bedside table there is always writing tools – the most creative I am in the early hours…;)
Sometimes, after waking up, I even record beautiful dreams…
Yeah could help you. And if you have important things in the evening, do it directly or write it up, otherwise you forget it.
A to-do list is always good and I often like to work with it. If you have countless construction sites and don’t know where to start, that’s the right solution. They could then prioritize the tasks according to importance, so that you can do the most important thing when there is a shortage of time. Maybe write a plan for every day what you need to do or want to do when. Then you forget nothing and have a super structure you can orient.
There are also helpful apps for this!
But I have no experience, I personally use my notes on my phone and a small whiteboard on my wall đ
I run ToDo lists so I can forget it! Then feel short, medium and long-term to set a priority. You can also write very simple things to get more moments of success. I often find it easier to get back into action đ
Type your dates into your mobile phone calendar.
