With a m2 yes, 2.5″ housing design not.

They like to suffer from increasing temperatures at large amounts of data they break in.

Depending on what you do with it, in a server yes, in a otto normal PC/laptop, I find it more unnecessary if it is ok if you don’t have any ok, if you don’t have the SSD permanently or over a long time.

Speak if you’re just playing, surfing the internet or watching videos, you don’t have to.
