Is a Decathlon road bike useful?

Hello Community,

I want to buy a road bike for around €600. I currently have a Decathlon mountain bike, but for my commute (14km) and because I want to get a taste of the sport, I wanted to buy an affordable road bike. Are Decathlon bikes suitable in this price range?

A racing bike from Decathlon in this price class could be a reasonable choice as long as you keep your expectations realistic and are willing to plan additional money for adjustments and accessories if necessary.

You also need only EUR 400.

comes to the manufacturer

If you get to the new current VanRysel then you should get halfway reasonable quality. The carbon racers are also certified to UCI, but last time I ran a sample with a friend. I don’t like geometry at all

and as a small tip for you: look at either the endurance or the grenade, that’s better

and important: since you have no contact with racing bikes, take a few samples, otherwise annoy you
