Is a 3000 calorie shake dangerous?
I (14) am quite thin and wanted to consume a 3,000-calorie shake every day. My boyfriend said it was very dangerous because I could die or get cancer from it, so I wanted to ask if that's true or if it's okay to drink the shake every day.
That’s not true, but these shakes don’t make much sense either. If you feel comfortable with your weight, you don’t have to change anything.
The question is rather how big and hard you are and whether you have any illnesses. If both are halfway on average, it should go. When the body takes too many calories, it separates those that are too much again. Try best to drink it over the day, so that the calories can be taken up, best do not make it closer than 2 hours before the next great meal. If you don’t have diseases and the shake doesn’t have too much caffeine or sugar, it’s not a problem.
