Is a 3-month call money account possible?

I'm considering opening a call money account for 3 months starting in January 2025. There are providers that offer 3.50% interest for 3 months, and then it drops to 1-1.30%.

I currently have a call money account with Commerzbank where I receive variable 2.75% interest.

However, for 3 months the other providers would be more interesting.

The only thing I don't understand is that it's always paid out quarterly. Will I not receive any interest payments if I cancel after the three months? How do I proceed then?

Zum Quartalsende bekommst Du exakt die Zinsen die vereinbart sind. Du musst nicht bis Januar warten, kannst jederzeit anfangen. Dann berechnen sie nach 3 Monaten anteilig die Zinsen für 3.5%

But what if I cancel my savings account before the end of the quarter to find another bank with better interest rates? Will I still receive the interest even though I canceled?
