Iqos in India and Sri Lanka?

Hello, I've read that IQOS are officially banned in India and Sri Lanka. Is anyone who has used these devices while traveling in these countries, or has had their device or IQOS cigarettes confiscated? Do you see people using them there? What are the penalties if you're caught? Perhaps you can share your experiences.

Why do you want to know what happens if you don't adhere to the rules and laws in other countries?

Those who visit other countries will follow the rules there.
It's gonna happen everywhere, they can be lucky, it's not falling out, you keep that thing. You've got bad luck, you're getting lost.

If it's stupid, you're gonna get another sentence if it's stupid, you can't even come in.

The possession of e-cigarettes and trading with them has been prohibited since 2019 and can be punished with high fines or even imprisonment.
