iPhone XR not charging?

Hello,

I still have my old phone lying around, but it doesn't charge properly anymore. When I want to charge it, it either only works with wireless charging or I have to bend the cable until it charges. I think I broke something in the charging port when I tried to clean it with a toothpick. Or is it maybe just dirt in the charging port? If it is defective, how much would it cost to repair, and would it be worth it? Thanks

Have you ever tried another charging cable?

If no, I’d try.

I think I broke up there some times in the loader socket when I wanted to clean it with a toothpick. Or is it about dirt in the load socket?

It could be both.

Dirt would not be bad, a broken or bent contact would be all the more.

If it’s broken, how more expensive would it be to fix it and would it be worth it? Thank you.

You’d have to find someone who fixes this because you have to disassemble the phone for it and also have to deal with a lottery piston (good).

First of all, it is not clear whether it really lies on the bush or whether the cable has a wobble contact. Because if you Cable can bend and then load the phone, then it sounds more like a cable break inside the cable.

The most favorable method would be to first see if it loads with a new / other cable.
