IPhone display broken, how to unlock and save data?
Good evening,
My iPhone XR suffered a terrible accident today and is now unusable. The display is completely ruined. I tried to fix it with my PC but untrustworthy programs always cost a lot of money. What can I do? My iCloud is locked because I misentered the password too many times and I can only restore it using my broken phone. I've tried everything but I think in an emergency I'll have to get the display repaired to get to my data, right? Are there any good free programs? Or can I do it without any programs? Googling is pointless because I'll just end up getting some crappy tool for 70 euros anyway, so I'm looking for information here! Thanks in advance for everyone who answers and helps me because I'm slowly going crazy here!

I think without a functioning display this becomes difficult. Since the iPad also asks for confirmation for the cable connection to the PC.

You know your Apple ID with password. You can use them to call iCloud.
Then let the display repair and you will be able to reuse your iPhone. For emergency with the help of Apple.
It’s expensive if you can’t do it yourself.
