Forgotten iPhone passcode? Turn off button?

I bought an iPhone yesterday. I intentionally entered my passcode incorrectly a few times, and then it said it wasn't available for a minute. Everything was fine so far. But then I saw that "forgotten passcode" was next to "emergency." When I clicked on that, I was able to reset the iPhone. Isn't that pretty stupid, because then someone could just steal my phone and reset it? Could someone please tell me if and how to turn that off?

You can reset and redeem the code via your MacBook (or other PC) with your Apple ID and password.
my phone can steal someone at any time if you don’t care, it doesn’t matter if you set up a code or not. Just keep an eye on your devices, if you’re a little sloppy, buy an AirTag, you can always pair it with your iPhone if you lose it from your eyes.

Moin, according to my knowledge, the password is then queried by your Apple ID:)

No, look, you really forget the code. Then the iPhone would be useless.
